软科研发中国最好大学排名的目的是客观呈现中国大学在整体实力和关键办学指标上的特点与差异,为鉴别挑选大学提供可靠的参考。中国最好大学排名在价值导向上力求反映学生、雇主、学者、企业等大学服务对象的集体选择,发挥排名作为社会评价手段的独特作用;在指标选择上强调其代表性和适切性,选择指向明确的关键办学指标,提高了排名的参考价值;在操作方式上做到完全公开透明,详细说明了各项指标的统计方法和数据来源,公布指标的原始数据,把排名真正做成中国大学办学信息的展示和分析工具。 |

Best Chinese Universities Ranking(BCUR) aims to provide students, parents and
other stakeholders with reliable and comparable information about Chinese universities. BCUR has a number of distinctive features. First, it uses indicators that can represent underlying judgments towards universities by different types of stakeholders. Second, BCUR employs only 9 key indicators to rank Chinese universities, making the ranking results more relevant, reliable and easy to understand. BCUR is also committed to be a fully transparent university ranking as it publishes not only the detailed methodology and source of data, but also raw data of all evaluated indicators, so that users can make verification and further analysis. |
