The Ministry of Education has clearly specified that the proportion of “double-qualified” teachers in vocational colleges shall be no less than 50%, and puts forward specific accreditation criteria. This paper analyzes the realistic dilemma in building teams of “double-qualified” teachers in vocational colleges. It also points out that in order to construct genuine teams of “double-qualified” teachers, we must reform the school-running evaluation system of vocational colleges, and establish a peer evaluation mechanism. |
