| Authentic assessment is an important assessment method and concept in the evaluation of American social studies curriculum. It comes from the needs of American education reform, and has been enriched and developed in practice. Authentic assessment emphasizes the authenticity of the assessment task, and pays attention to the performance of students’comprehensive application of knowledge and skills in solving complex social problems, so it advocates using various methods to collect information about students’ curriculum learning. The authentic assessment can provide
beneficial enlightenment for the reform of curriculum evaluation in China. The reform of curriculum assessment in China should assign real assessment tasks, clarify specific standards, adopt multiple
evaluation methods and construct an evaluation system involving multiple subjects. |
