从加州大学伯克利分校看美国大学的综合评价招生政策

摘要:
选取美国一流公立大学——加州大学伯克利分校,采用文本分析法与案例研究法对该校招生政策的评价进行研究,发现美国一流大学综合评价招生兼顾学术能力与多元群体、采取“可免试入学”政策、以表现性、情境性评价为主要评价方法。建议平衡卓越与公平的关系、激发高校自主性、注重多元综合,以完善我国高校本科招生政策。

Admission Policy of Comprehensive Evaluation in the United States With an Example of UC Berkeley

Abstract:
This study selected UC Berkeley, the most famous world-class public university in the United States, and used text analysis and case study method to study its admission policy of comprehensive evaluation. It was found that the comprehensive evaluation policy of world-class universities in the United States has some characteristics. Firstly, it takes academic merit and diverse groups into account. Secondly, it adopts the “test-free admission” policy. Thirdly, it takes performance and situational evaluation as the main evaluation method. It is suggested that China’s universities should balance the goals of excellence and fairness, encourage autonomy, and pay attention to diversity and synthesis, so as to improve the undergraduate enrollment policy.
