| 一名考研学生因涉嫌“虐猫”，未被报考以及调剂的两所大学录取，这引发了舆论对考研复试思想品德考核的广泛关注。大学拥有考研复试的自主权，但因思想品德考核在考研复试中具有“一票否决”的作用，所以必须制定更为明晰的思想品德考核标准，明确舆论监督与大学自主办学的边界，以利于大学公开透明地进行思想品德考核，并教育警示学生重视自身的思想品德。 |

| How to Conduct the Moral Assessment for Postgraduate Entrance Re-examination |

| Abstract: |
| A student taking postgraduate entrance examination was refused by both the applied and adjusted universities for he was allegedly involved in a cat-abuse incident. It has sparked widespread public attention on the moral assessment for postgraduate entrance re-examination. This paper points out that universities have the autonomy in postgraduate entrance re-examinations. Moreover, since the moral assessment has the“one-vote veto”role in the postgraduate entrance re-examination, more clearer moral assessment standards shall be formulated to clarify the boundary between the supervision of public opinion and autonomous running of universities, so as to facilitate universities to conduct moral assessment with openness and transparency, and to educate and warn students to value their own moral character. |
